Geneva, Switzerland – March 4, 2011 – NAVTEQ, the leading global provider of maps, traffic and location data enabling navigation, location-based services and mobile advertising around the world, has developed CITROËN’s first map update and content web portal. As part of its customer service strategy, aimed at giving dedicated services to CITROËN’s drivers, the company’s first map update and navigation content webstore offers drivers easy, flexible access to the latest maps and safety camera data. The webstore content is available for CITROËN navigation systems (MyWay, eMyWay, NaviDrive and, NaviDrive 3D) across Europe.

Information on cameras ranked sixth amongst European consumers in a recent study* on navigation features undertaken by NAVTEQ.
Map updates can make an important contribution to customer service and satisfaction as navigation systems operate at their best if using the latest data. The new site is secure, easy to use and the interface makes it simple for consumers to find and select the appropriate products.
